THE PROCESS
When you bring your vehicle to Canaden Autocare for a ceramic coating, here’s exactly what happens from start to finish. I want you to understand the full process so you know the level of care and detail your car receives.
1. Pre-Wash & Degreasing
First, we start with a thorough pre-wash to remove loose dirt, dust, bugs, and road grime. We use a safe degreaser and foam cannon to break down any surface contamination.
Why this matters:
A clean surface ensures we don’t scratch the paint during the next steps.
2. Hand Wash – Two Bucket Method
Next, we perform a proper hand wash using the two-bucket method to avoid adding swirls or scratches.
We wash the entire car, including the wheels, tires, door jambs, and emblems.
At this stage, the paint is clean — but not perfectly smooth yet.
3. Iron Removal / Chemical Decontamination
After the wash, we use an iron remover to melt away embedded brake dust and metal particles stuck inside your paint.
Why this matters:
These tiny particles cannot be removed by regular washing, and they interfere with the coating bond.
4. Clay Bar Treatment
Then we clay the entire vehicle.
This step removes bonded contaminants like:

5. Drying & Inspection
We blow-dry the entire car and inspect the paint under strong lighting.

Here’s what we do:

9. Final Inspection & Touch-Ups

10. Curing Time & Aftercare Instructions
Before you leave, we explain how to maintain your coating:
